Aluminium Capping Services Ltd is a UK-based company with a
worldwide reputation for the manufacture and service of machines for
making and heat-sealing aluminium caps.
The company was founded in 1991 by some of the most experienced
designers and engineers from the capping press industry and rapidly
developed a strong reputation for customer service and engineering
excellence.
ACS were invited to design & build capping presses by a leading
European dairy filler manufacturer and since these early beginnings,
the company has developed and supplied a comprehensive range of capping
presses for a wide variety of applications.
The ACS product range is enhanced with a choice of cap sealing options,
including the unique Linear Belt Sealer, a top-pressure in-line
induction heat-sealing machine and the 'Cap-Sure' Inspection/rejection
module.
ACS has an active product development program designed to ensure that
the company remains at the forefront of equipment and process
developments and is proud of its reputation as a customer-focused
business, with the highest levels of customer service.
ACS equipment operates on a global basis and many of the worlds leading
producers and brand-owners have multiple-machine installations.
Fords
Packaging Systems Ltd is pleased to announce that on Friday the
28th May 2010, it acquired 100% of the shares of Aluminium Capping
Services Ltd (ACS).
The acquisition is a major milestone in the history
of Fords, and gives a great opportunity to continue enhancing both
products and service levels to a global customer base. The acquisition
will add new products to the Fords' portfolio.
